OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• PFTS Workshops are led by Aviva Gold & often co-taught with her personally trained teachers.

• Required Reading: Workshops involve a commitment to inner work and group process. The book, Painting from the Source, is a required reading before attending any workshops, and is available at all North American workshop locations, and online at the PFTS store.

• Thinking about bringing a friend or family member to a PFTS workshop with you? There are two important questions each of you should first ask your selves:
  1. Will I be uninhibited to paint anything and share any personal information about my life in the presence of this person?
  2. Is this someone I do not have to take care of in any way?
  If the answers are "yes," then it can be a wonderful enriching experience for all of you. If the answer is "No," then it would reduce the experience of safety and transformation for everyone and I suggest coming with someone else who fits the bill or coming solo, an adventure which the majority of people do.

HOSTING A WORKSHOP IN YOUR AREA

Many of you want to host Painting From The Source® in your geographic area because you have already experienced the workshop and want to share the benefits you have received with your friends, family and home community. Others of you have read the PFTS book and/or viewed my DVD or web site or heard from others the value of Painting From the Source®. Thank you for your interest!

In general it is much easier to host a workshop if you have already attended a workshop; you can see first hand how the space is set up, better advertise, and tell people what to expect. Therefore you may want to consider attending a workshop before organizing a workshop in your hometown. I do realize that in some cases, not having the expense of traveling to me is an incentive to bring me to your community.

To host a painting workshop it will be necessary for you to have access to e-mail as that is the most efficient and inexpensive way to communicate. I am aware that a phone conversation is also often necessary.

Some benefits of bringing Painting From The Source® to your community are:

1. Satisfaction of introducing a powerful healing creative process to your community.

2. A great way to get publicity for your own work. Many people who lead local painting groups who invite me to teach often get a good group from our workshop who continue to paint with them. No matter what your work, massage therapist, psychic, or yoga teacher, publicizing PFTS workshop in your town brings attention to you and your work.

3. Getting a group together for me is a good way to meet like-minded people in your town and make new friends, and get some painting buddies as well.

4. You get to attend a workshop for free.

5. Learning and polishing newskills, such as publicity, making a flyer, delegating duties to assistants, negotiating for appropriate painting space, event production and coordination.

6. Getting to know your town and geographic area better by exploring for workshop space.

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS WITH AVIVA (purchase here)

Individual Creativity Facilitation Sessions with Aviva help to unblock creative energy and awaken your artists soul, using a variety of techniques such as painting, Gestalt, Journaling, dreams, personal assignments from Aviva and other creative modalities. Often just one session will help.

Individual Creativity Facilitation Sessions help unblock creative energy and awaken your artist’s soul. The one on one,individual session is for people who have done a painting using the Painting From The Source process/book, who think they are complete, or in any stage of completion; or who may feel stuck. Bringing their painting to the session they will find that the paintings have a lot to express and often reveal deeper meaning. People may be afraid, disgusted or curious about an image, like in dreams. Aviva guides people through sound, movement and dialogue to go deeper into the painting and mine its rich guidance.

Expressive Arts Supervision for students or clinicians is also available from Aviva. Sessions are available in person or by phone. All sessions are 1 hour and15 minutes paid in advance of telephone sessions. Please contact Aviva for current prices.
