#03 Cosmic Creator 1988

CONCEPTION:

This is one of a series of unplanned early paintings in which I was apparently revealing the feminine face of God. This inspired image of the creator of all life in the universe appeared. I felt ecstatic when painting as if I were tapping into and transported to an essential truth of existence. Five hours flew by. There was a revelation that the entire vast universe and a tiny microscopic cell were the same, simply a mirror of each other. I had a bad cold and cough when I began painting, which was gone in a few hours when painting was complete.

Note: In the early years, female Goddess images of every color, race, and type were primarily wanting to appear through me.
