CONCEPTION:

In the earliest days when first rediscovering the power of Source, my commitment was, as it remains today, to allow my body and psyche to be used as a vehicle to channel whatever images wanted to come through no matter how favorable or disturbing.

I was painting in a group – what I call the primal tribe, which seems to accelerate the Source connection. I picked up a medium-sized watercolor brush and dipped it into creamy brown tempera paint. I noted that brown was a most unlikely color choice for me. A juicy brown line marked the trail of the vigorously moving brush on the white paper. In these early brown flow strokes there was the sense of tree branches and curly roots, and behold! I see yet another version of tree nymph goddess hidden in the tree. She calls out to be recognized. Delightful surprise!
