#07 Return to Source 2007

CONCEPTION:

I had a big mysterious dream. I was walking on a street in a woodsy country village with shops on one side and a stone wall above a slow-moving river on the other side. I saw a black cat cross the river on a small stone walking bridge and I followed. On the other side I stepped into a mysterious numinous world, a very ancient abandoned desert village, another realm. I passed a male lion guarding the entranceway to a desert dwelling with domed roof. …. An abode which was waiting there for me for an eternity, but I was not afraid. I entered the small room and saw a dark hole in the floor. There was a wood ladder going down in the bottomless hole. I woke up completely refreshed and full of wonder.

A few weeks later, I wanted to go back into the dream and go down the hole in my painting. While painting and exploring the unfolding inner landscape I felt full of wonder, deep faith in an alternative dimension and satisfaction. ….truly with the Source. I felt a renewed sense of my mission, satisfaction and where I truly come from.
